Needs From: Volunteer Loudoun

Donate a new backpack for a middle school student at Trailside!  Crossroads has had a request for 23 new middle school backpacks (no school supplies need to be included).  This need will be updated as donations are made.   Contact Aimee Taylor at ataylor@crossroadsnova.org if you have any questions.

Every year Crossroads collects supplies for students who attend local elementary and middle schools in the community. Having the tools needed to succeed in the classroom can have a profound impact on a student’s learning experience and self-esteem.

Here is the list with all the supplies needed for an area student. Supplies are due back to Crossroads by August 9.

We're looking for friendly volunteers to serve at our app help desks on the next three Sunday mornings before and after worship. No technical experience is required; you will greet people, listen to their questions or issues, and submit a support ticket using an online form. Our tech team will take care of the rest! This is a great opportunity to serve in an easy but meaningful way by helping connect people with the support they need. There are several volunteer opportunities on Sunday mornings before, during, or after the worship service.

First Impressions Team

A welcoming team consisting of communion servers, greeters, hospitality, parking ushers and ushers. From directions in the parking lot through the end of the worship service and special events, the First Impressions team is there to serve and offer an unlimited welcome to all.

KidVenture

Kids Ministry inspires children and families to “love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as you love yourself.” Through prayer, special activities, and service projects, children will know they are uniquely loved and called to be shining lights in the world.

Student Ministry

Student Ministry serves middle school and high school students and their families. Programs and events are designed around deepening friendships, building community, setting aside time for play and rest, and growing in God’s love for each of us and every person we come in contact and connect with.

Music Team

Worship is a collaborative effort involving many instruments, voices, and diverse levels of experience. We always welcome new vocalists and musicians, along with the passion and authenticity they bring. Working alongside the Leadership, First Impression, and AV Teams, the Music Team provides the foundation for congregational, offertory, and communion music.

Audio Visual Team

Worship is a creative collaboration — where scripture, serving, music, and imagery all come together to help people encounter God. Our AV Team partners with the Leadership, Music, and First Impression Teams to bring worship to life through sound, lighting, camera operation, media presentation, and more. Every role on the team plays a vital part in supporting meaningful and authentic worship.
