Who We Are
As breast cancer survivors and caregivers ourselves, we have also faced the challenges that creep up while trying to stick to your treatment schedule; like finding childcare or getting a ride to the hospital. Tasks like paying for treatment when the rent is overdue can be overwhelming. That’s where we come in: We raise funds to help address these various aspects of life that make a world of a difference when it comes to successful treatment and a happier human.
What We Do
The Step Sisters work to improve the quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer in the Northern Virginia region. The group funds needed support services such as transportation, food delivery and childcare as well as housing and utility assistance. Each service is designed to eliminate potential obstacles to treatment while improving the quality of life for breast cancer patients.
